Sweet new year~~!

Just as I've talked about preparing for the valentines' day in the previous post~~~
This is my preparation.....
Chocolate Lava Cake AND!! a simplified version of Baked Alaska.....

Well, I checked out the ingredients from a book, this is what they were:


(I forgot abt the sugar when takig this pic~~XDDD Also, the pic shows ingredients for 6 serves)

* 100 G - Chocolate
* 100 G - Butter (I used salt free butter, but I think the general type will do fine)
* 30 G - Sugar
* Full Egg X2
* Egg Yolk X2
* 20 G - Flour
* 1 teaspoon - vanilla essence

Step one~~
You turn on ur oven and pre-heat it at 190 degree, then you melt ur chocolate and butter~~
BUT, you do NOT heat it directly, since it is easy to burn the choc, you let ur water to be boiled over heat and then put the pan of choc and butter over that hot water. The choc and butter will melt by that hot steam~~

Step two~~
In the meanwhile, mix the eye yolks, the full egg, the sugar and the vanilla essence together, mix well with a blender.


Blend until it it thick enough to draw an "8" on the surface of the mixture


Step Three~~
See if the choc and butter is ready, if all melt fine, take it off heat, let it coll down for a bit. At the same time, grease your container, and I've added icing sugar to prevent it from sticking. Do this quick, not to take forever~~
BTW I bought these cupcake containers from IKEA, they are non stick and easy tip up cups, can be heated up to 250 degree, I find best for making a lava cake, as I have always had problems with taking the cake out without hving to break it.

 

Step Four~~
Mix the but+choc wiith the egg mixture, then seive in the flour and mix.... again~~


And, divide into the containers~~~


Step Five~~
Put into oven, heat 5 mins and 30 secs. This is the time I found best~~ It depends on your oven's power~~ This varies~~ Suggest you take our ur lava cake in 5 mins to check, if OK, take out the rest quickly~~


FINALLY!!!
I broke one to check the lava actually flows out~~XDDDD


And~~ Serve with ice-cream!!

Normally, after making the lava cake, ppl will start to throw away unused stuff, such as the egg white!! That's a big mistake!! Becoz it can be served with the cake!! >W<

All you have to do, is add a teaspoon of sugar into the egg white, blend it until it is foamy, and does not fall off the bowl.

Then put ur lava cake on a plate, add a ball of ice-cream on top. Do this step quickly, not only the ic-cream will melt, the lava cake will also freeze~~


(This is definitely a bad demonstration, I had too big a ball of ice-cream, it was kindda easy to fall XDDDD)

It is like this when put on table, but actually, it should be burnt slightly before putting it on fire~!

I hv no idea where these weird days come from...... just..... it was pigtails' day on 2 Feb, might as well hv a little fun with it. XDDDD

14 Jan - Diary Day
Couples will give each other their past year's diary, meaning they'll be together in the next year and to create more happy memories.

This has always been a day celebrate in the Asia (I knew about this in watching Japanese Drama). It is when a boy received chocolate from a girl on 14 Feb, to show that he feels the same like she did, he'd have to give back sweets or traditionally marshmallows to that girl.

14 Apr - Black Day
This is a day when people hv no lovers to "celebrate". Whatever they do on that day must involve black, e.g. wear black hats, black shirt, black trousers. They eat black, e.g. black coffee, squid ink noodles etc.

14 May - Yellow and Rose day
This is a day when you tell the world "I AM STILL AVAILABLE" by wearing yellow~

14 Jun - Kiss Day
Couples will no longer need to be shy on the day~ unleash your emotions and tell ur boyfriend / girlfriend how mcuch you love him/her by the most passionate KISSSSSSS!!  

14 Jul - Silver Day
Good time to introduce ur partner to ur parents! Since, its a day when all spendings are count on ur parents~~ But I highly doupt that works~~XDDDD

14 Aug - Green Day
Spend a relaxing day to go for a walk in the woods with ur bf/gf~~~ Enjoy ur time~~
Hum....... This, I think, whoever's made this up is running out of ideas..... I will never spend a HK summer afternoon in the woods, it'll kill me!!

14 Sep - Music Day & Photo Day
Music day is a day good for organising parties, either for meeting new Mr / Mrs Right or introducing ur bf/gf to fds~!

14 Oct - Wine Day
This day Must be loved by wine lovers~~ Enjoy ur wine with ur other half, also to plan for the shared future of urs.

14 Nov - Orange Day & Movie Day
Spend a day watching movies in ur partner's arms , relaxing movies, action movie and even sad movies. After tears pours out of ur eyes like tap water, take a big glass of orange juice for replenishing the lost fluid of ur body. Suitable frequency of crying is good for ur eyes~~

14 Dec - Hug Day
Basically, HUG!! Show the world how much u love each other by hugging!!! Well, I think this is kindda same as the Kiss Day~~ =P

Then, here comes a little moan~~

I hv a fd whom I knew for almost 3 years by now~~ Can't be said as my closest fd, but, close enough.

She had an argument with her group of fds 3 yrs ago~~~ Reason being, er... random girls' fight, but my fd actually did nothing, she was accused that she did all sorts of unpleasant things~~ = =||| So, my fd left that group~~ Then got to know us~~

We were gd fds for these few yrs, and recently I came across that, those bunch of bit*hes hv been talking behind her back for all these yrs!! Not just that, they purposefully said horrible things (pretending they were just muttering to themselves) in front of my fd when they walked pass her. It was so obvious that they were talking abt her alright!? This is just mean!!

My fd had never fought back, since she thinks they are bit*hes but she isn't. So, she'll not react to any of that, just simply ignore. Then for 3 yrs, those bit*hes have been keeping tracks of what my fd was doing, what relationship she's in, even what fd she has, then talk abt it in their own group......

I mean, how bored are u ppl?!!

OK, talk among urselves? I can't stop that, everyone can talk as they pleased. Just, I duuno if they think my fd is afraid of them or something, they started to approach my fd and say horrible things directly on her social networking sites!!

That, has crossed the line. I was furious!!!! Go FU*K urselves bit*hes!! If u need a di*k, go find one by throwing ur clothes off in Lan Kwai Fong!! Woops, or maybe they'll get arrested be4 being put to a bed~

Oh, no, actually, I heard that they hv bfs........ how can boys stand that? I though guys hates girls gossiping......... er... no, bit*hing like this? Then happens to know abt how one of them got her bf by stealing off from some poor girl~~~ A guy like this choosing a girl like that? Woooowww~~~ actually no wonder they'd make a good couple~~

OK, to be fair, Girl's arguments, I know it may raise the hate for a yr or two. Then whenever they see, the hate will burn like adding oil to a little flame~~ Whoooom!! Then fight~~

After that? Unless it was a serious argument like sleeping ur bestfd's bf or something, that? OK, can take 100 yrs to be forgotten. However, that argument drove my fd to leave their group? It was just rumors that were not 100% sure to them bit*hes when 100% sure that it was not true on my fd's side. Isn't that a stupid thing to remember and to chase up on for whole 3 yrs?

 I came to a few conclusions~
1) They're just bored, nothing else in common to them to talk abt~~

2) Nervous bullies, feeling great when to bully someone else in their little group. No matter that someone reacts or not, within their eyes, the one they bully is always afraid of them, even when their "victim" just turn and ignore them.

3) They want my fd back. This is another possibility I though of, why can u be sooooo obsessed with one person for 3 yrs?? Even I couldn't be like that when a roommate pissed me off so much like god knows how many yrs ago. So......... not hate, then it must be love? They want to hv her back in their group, by doing this attention seeing actions to make my fd be on her knees begging them to stop and be back into their group? ...... Yeah, whatever~~~ =_,=+

Anyway, that's that~~~ Them bit*hes can go talking abt whoever they want, & their bfs can go looking for better girls~~ =P

P.S. those bit*hes I talk abt are mostly around 20's, one I know is even over 30~~ This is what happens if u guys act as bullies~? So becareful? (lol) XDDDD

P.P.S. Finally changed the layout of my blog=P close to Chinese New Year~~ Have a little red and an old pic of mine in ancient costume(it was actually a little story me and my fd made up to do that photo shoot)~~

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey II

Huhuhu.....come blogging abt this film again, I believe everyone has seen it by now~

I guess its a little late to talk abt this??

Anyway, the characters...........

Er.........How many ppl actually do remember all the names and faces?  coz, I really don't!!

All I remember was Gandalf, Uncle Bill, and the dwarf prince,the pretty elf queen and agent Smith~~XDDDD

Just to help u guys with the faces, lets talk abt the characters~

>> Bilbo Baggins
Weak, not as clever as I would expect, but still good enough to get himself safely away from Gollum.....
Actor himself, I hv actually watched his Sherlock TVseries. It is pretty amazing the fact that I didn't realise that was him when I saw Hobbit! Martin Freeman has done a great job staring the young Uncle Bill!

>> Gandalf
Haha..... in the Hobbit, Gandalf feels more relaxed,  more cheeky(?)~ It feels like his has put some characteristics of Dumbledore into Gandalf, feels not bad  actually! >W< 

>> Fili
He was one of the young dwarf in the league, apparently been considered by the fans that he is the hottest dwarf........ XDDDD   Fili and Kili were Thorin's nephews, mostly take the job of searching and scouting~

>> Kili
Another Young dwarf, he's the brother of Fili..... They appear on the scene together most of the time. 

>> Oin
A warrior who survived the Battle of Azanulbizar, I think his character didn't really stand out,which is a pitty....... I do think he is funny.

>> Gloin
Familiar face?! Yes..... he is Gimli's dad!! Hense the similar personality and outlook! XDD
On the other hand........ I don't know is it just me or not...... he feels like Hagrid to me = ="

>> Dwalin
Er.....um........... Honestly, apart from he was the first to arrive at Bilbo's house, I  don't remember much abt him........hohohohohohoho......... next!

>> Balin
Dwalin's brother, his image to me seemed to be the wisest of all dwarfs~! Also he had been friendly to Bilbo,    overall, he's the nicest dwarf. 

>> Bifur
The toy maker, and...........  I'm sorry, remember nothing about him.....= =||||

>> Bofur
One of the pretty fun dwarfs, cheerful and optimistic~~ hv to say, he really is just there really, can't be considered as a warrior to me.  =  = btw, he's also a toy maker..

>> Bombur
Er.......... Fat, dum...... er...... Useless? ((((runnnn

>> Dori
I saw this description of him on other web "seemingly a youngish Dwarf"....... huh? really?? I mean....... seriously?? =0=? However, he was the strongest of the pack~

>> Nori
His eyebrow.....Hahahahaha..... and almost star shaped hair.........hahahahaHAHAHA!!! 

>> Ori
Really........I think he shouldn't hv come for this, he feels pretty childish to an extend...... useless = =|||

>> Thorin Oakenshield
He was described as haughty, stern, and officious........ er........ officious....... that Im not sure, but I think he is obviously a little tooooo proud of himself, seriously dislike him confronting that white monster alone leaving everyone in danger......... even when he admit he was wrong about Bilbo.... that still doesn't make me like his character any better........= =|||||

>> Gollum
No need to explain right? But actually, this film I find him quite scary....... = =|||| He really did mean to kill Bilbo~~~

>> Galadriel
Um............. I don't like her face............ Her character was good, but her face really wasn't my cup of tea~~

>> Agent Smith! (lol)
He'll soon multiply himself to make a Smith's kingdom of Elf~~~ XDDDDD
Anyway, in the Hobbit, it seems Elrond is younger, and more energetic? (judged by his was of entering the scene) XDDDDD)


Right~~~~ That's that for now~~
I have to say, since The Lord of the Rings were tooooo great, it is hard not to go into the cinema with great expectation for The Hobbit. As expected, little disappointed...... fights are not exciting, funny parts are not funny enough, touching parts also doesn't get to me at all, but the best part is their songs really...... You may say you can't really expect more since they are dwarfs afterall, I think I'll still see one film more, as the first film is always the least good to watch~~~ =3=
